DV 2010 Lottery winners will be announced by regular postal mail between the months of May and July 2009. The winners will also get necessary information on visa fees and how to proceed further with the visa processing.
E-mail, telephone or fax will not be used to announce the winners. If you get any notification through any of these way verify it good. You will not pay any money till you attend for the interview at the embassy or consular office.
Those who have applied for the diversity visa lottery and not been selected will not get any notification. Those who have applied for the DV2010 can check their status of selection online from July 1, 2009, until June 30, 2010.
If you didn't get selected within this period, you can apply for the next year green card lottery.
KCC will not announce the winners name list.
Also the US Embassies and the Consulates too will not be able to provide you the winner’s names.
News papers in some countries like Nepal and Albania get their country DV Lottery winners name from the post office and publish them as winners name list.
