Requirements for Photographs:If you are applying for the DV 2009 Green Card lottery you must upload a color Photo file along with your duly filled Entry.
If you are married, then your spouse Photo also must be uploaded along with her Entry form.
If you have eligible children,then each of their separate photos along with the entry must be uploaded in the order.
Group Photos are not accepted.
All Photos Must be recently Photographed ones. ( within last 6 months)
If you didn't submit Photos of the eligible members of your family including your spouse,your entry will be rejected.
You can take either Digital photograph or Photo Print.
When taking photo
The person must look the camera straight,And head not tilted, not wearing any Glasses that may obstruct the eyes, Not wearing any Head cover or caps (except for religious belief), the Back round behind the person must be a light colored wall or board.
The photo must be in good focus.
When taking a Digital Photo the submitted digital image must conform to the following compositional specifications or the entry will be disqualified.
If you are taking Digital photo with a Digital camera that must meet the following specifications.
The image file size can't be no more than 62,000 bytes.
The image resolution must be 320 pixels high by 240 pixels wide.
The image must be in the Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) format.
The scanner resolution must be 150 dpi, file format in jpeg, 24 bit color depth and resolution
300Pix x 300pix. the file size must not be more than 62,500 bytes. See some sample photos
